Compassionate Leaders in Action: Welcome Zareen & Jane!

Zareen Ali, SLP, & Jane Button, BCBA

We are thrilled to introduce two exceptional professionals who have joined the Elemenoe family at our Burlington clinic: Zareen Ali, SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) and Jane Button, BCBA (Board Certified Behaviour Analyst). Their passion for supporting children and families aligns perfectly with our mission to provide high-quality care, guidance, and customized interventions for children on the autism spectrum.

At Elemenoe, all four of our leaders—Jane, Zareen, Brittany and Shawna—had the privilege of learning from a shared mentor, Tracie Lindblad, who instilled in us the importance of collaborative care. This philosophy has shaped our approach throughout our careers and continues to guide everything we do today. Together, we strive to provide truly integrated and compassionate support for every child and family we serve.

Meet Zareen Ali, SLP

Zareen is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who brings her enthusiasm for language development and social communication to every session. With a background in both early intervention and school-based therapy, Zareen has extensive experience working with children who experience speech delays, communication challenges, and social-pragmatic difficulties. Her focus is not only on improving functional communication but also on building relationships and confidence in children. Zareen’s therapy style is playful and dynamic, fostering engagement through storytelling, games, and hands-on activities that children love.

Fun fact: Zareen’s favourite book is A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. She strives to create her own ‘fine balance’ by bringing passion to her work while also enjoying quality time in nature with her family.

Meet Jane Button, BCBA

Jane brings over 10 years of experience working with children across the autism spectrum. With a deep understanding of behaviour management and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Jane has a special talent for tailoring her approach to meet each child’s unique needs. Whether helping families with skill-building programs, behaviour reduction strategies, or parent training, Jane’s goal is to empower children to thrive at home, in school, and in the community.
When Jane isn't working one-on-one with families, she enjoys leading team collaborations, creating individualized plans, and mentoring young professionals entering the field.

Fun fact: Jane loves hiking and is always on the lookout for the next scenic trail near Burlington!
